Having worked in the nonprofit industry for over 20 years, giving back and supporting my community is at the heart of all I do.

I have spent my career building relationships across complex networks, generating revenue streams to enhance programs and spearheading collaborations in order to improve the community. My work to help others has run the gamut - from increasing research funding for diseases like Alzheimer’s, scholarship support for college students, protecting women’s rights and creating a safe environment for all.

After graduating from the University of Michigan, I started my first fundraising job at EMILY’s List, where I saw how important advocacy and raising dollars were to enhancing mission driven initiatives. Since then, I have had the pleasure of working at nonprofits like the Advertising Council and the Alzheimer’s Association, and larger institutions like the University of Houston and hospitals within the BILH system. I currently serve as the Assistant Vice President of Advancement at Northeastern University, where I oversee six different teams raising scholarship and programmatic support for students.

I personally believe in the importance of continuing education - I went back to school to receive my MBA with a focus on financial management. Since October 2020, I have been an adjunct faculty member in Northeastern University’s graduate program for adult learners, teaching students on different aspects of nonprofit management - from financial, legal, budgetary and the building blocks for a successful nonprofit program.

My husband and I bought our place in Medford several years ago, and along with our two rescue dogs BJ and Brody, we have enjoyed making this city our forever home. Over the past few years, I have served as the Medford Democratic City Committee Ward 2 Chair, encouraging individuals in my Ward to become more politically engaged - going door to door, helping to host events, encouraging participation in our Caucus and attending the convention. I have been a member of numerous professional organizations and have been a mentor to many women within the development field.

I want to bring my knowledge in managing budgets, generating revenue streams and building out programs to the Medford community!
